2003 and on……
Upstairs floor (except bathroom) is all a Kronotex dynamic clic laminate in
a natural cherry pattern.
We could not nail the finish flooring because the in
floor heat tube is right up against the underside of the subfloor. The laminate floor “floats” on top of the subfloor without being fastened to it so it was the perfect
solution.
From bottom to top in the picture you can see the subfloor, a sound deadening layer, the foam underlay, and
the laminate flooring.

each piece have tongues and two have grooves.
The tongues fit into the grooves and are tapped home with a block of
wood and hammer until they lock in place.
